02

What is J.KAY PARA COAT?

J.KAY PARA COAT is a liquid product developed for application to the tapping panel and tapping-cut area of rubber trees that are already in production.

The formulation combines Polymer, Chitosan, and plant extracts to support the care of the tapping area, form a thin transparent protective film on the surface, and help maintain suitable tapping-panel conditions under continuous tapping management.

The product can be used with all rubber tree varieties and across different tapping systems.

03

Three Key Points to Remember

1. Specifically developed for tapping-panel and tapping-cut care

J.KAY PARA COAT is applied directly to the tapping area to support the condition of bark and surfaces affected by repeated tapping.

2. Supports suitable bark condition for continued tapping

The product is designed to help maintain a more manageable bark condition and support easier tapping as part of proper plantation management.

3. Contains no latex stimulant

J.KAY PARA COAT is positioned as a tapping-panel care product and does not rely on latex-stimulating substances as part of its formulation.

04

Suitable Situations for Use

J.KAY PARA COAT is suitable for rubber plantations requiring ongoing tapping-panel care, including:

  • Tapping cuts requiring routine care
  • Tapping areas where bark has become hard or less suitable for tapping
  • Plantations under continuous tapping
  • Tapping-panel maintenance between tapping cycles
  • Situations where environmental exposure may affect the tapping area
  • Tapping areas where management of undesirable microorganisms is a concern
  • Plantations focusing on long-term tapping-panel condition and sustainability

The product is positioned as a tapping-panel care and management product, not as a direct treatment for plant disease.

05

How the Formula Works

J.KAY PARA COAT combines three key groups of components.

Polymer

After application, the polymer forms a thin transparent film over the tapping area.

This film helps reduce direct exposure of the tapping cut to the external environment and helps limit easy access by contaminants or undesirable microorganisms.

Chitosan

Chitosan is an important component of the formulation and is incorporated into the overall tapping-panel management approach.

The formulation is intended to support bark condition and latex-quality management as part of appropriate rubber plantation practices.

Plant Extracts

Plant extracts are included as supporting components to help maintain suitable conditions around the tapping panel and help reduce environmental factors that may favor undesirable microorganisms.

08

Why Choose J.KAY PARA COAT?

J.KAY PARA COAT is not designed as a latex-stimulation product.

It is specifically developed to support the area directly affected by repeated tapping.

Key characteristics include:

  • Polymer that forms a protective film over the tapping area
  • Chitosan as an important component of the formulation
  • Plant extracts incorporated into the tapping-panel care system
  • Support for bark and tapping-cut condition
  • Simple brush-on application
  • One liter can cover a large number of rubber trees
  • No latex stimulant

The core concept is:

“Maintain the tapping panel to support appropriate long-term tapping management.”

Rather than forcing short-term latex stimulation.

09

Suitable for

J.KAY PARA COAT is intended for rubber trees that have already entered the tapping stage.

  • Suitable for all rubber tree varieties
  • Suitable for trees from the tapping age onward
  • Compatible with all tapping systems
  • Suitable for plantations under continuous tapping
  • Suitable for long-term tapping-panel care programs
10

Application Method

Use a brush approximately 3 inches wide.

Apply a thin, even layer of J.KAY PARA COAT over:

the area above the tapping cut or directly over the tapping area requiring care.

Under normal plantation conditions, no special cleaning procedure is required before application.

After application, there is no need to suspend tapping for several days. Normal tapping schedules can generally continue according to plantation management practices.

11

Application Coverage

One 1-liter container of J.KAY PARA COAT can be used for approximately:

500–800 rubber trees

Actual coverage depends on:

  • Size of the treated area
  • Thickness of application
  • Condition of the tapping panel
  • Application technique used in each plantation

A thin, even coating is recommended. Excessively thick application is not necessary.

12

Recommended Application Frequency

Recommended application:

Approximately once per month

The product may be applied at a convenient time or during a scheduled tapping-rest day.

Where possible, apply when the tapping area is not being directly exposed to running rainwater during application and the initial film-setting period.

13

Compatibility with Tapping Systems

J.KAY PARA COAT can be used with different tapping schedules, including:

  • Alternate-day tapping
  • Tapping every third day
  • Other plantation-specific tapping systems

The product does not require growers to change their existing tapping system solely for the purpose of using J.KAY PARA COAT.

14

Package Size and Price
